G.I.F.T. – Growing In Faith Together
Sundays @ 9:45am in Discipleship Hall
February 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25
We Grow In Faith Together as we take steps to the cross!
EACH NIGHT: Dive into the “Steps to the Cross” guidebook. Light a candle, gather with family or friends and enjoy the blessings of holy time together.
EACH SUNDAY DURING LENT: In an age segregated culture, the church celebrates the unique
gifts of gathering 6 generations together around the cross to worship and learn the ways of Jesus.
Each week come eat together, laugh (a lot!), learn 5 valuable steps for life, hear and incubate the
power of God’s story, create a shared experience where all learn, teach and form faith.
Sundays @ 9:45am we gather in Discipleship Hall. Come and see!

Update: At our February 3, 2019 Congregational Meeting, the proposed and updated 2019 Ministry Spending Plan was voted down by a count of 96-31.
The Council has subsequently developed an Ad-hoc working group consisting of Rex Ritchie (Chair), Mike Stanfield, Dave Griffin, Rachel Carlson, John Gavitt, Donna Turrill, and John Fredericksen.
They are tasked with putting together a proposal for Council to consider regarding our Ministry Spending Plan. This should happen within 30 days, by the middle of March.
Please keep this Ad-hoc team and our Council in your prayers as we continue our prayerful discernment about next steps for Bethel.

During Advent 2017, Bethel will bring all of our generations together around the cross to bring out the playful wonder of the child, embrace the wisdom of the elder, make deep connections with each other and receive the gift of living encounters with God.
We know many parents’ prayer is “HELP!” and our world cries out “HEAL US!”. We believe the great GIFT of Jesus’ love injects life into us when we spend meaningful, intentional time together. Let’s have some creative singing and dancing, hugs and high fives, and playful adventures for every night and every home!
This is GIFT! Come and see, bring a friend or a family and Grow In Faith Together!
